Craft Shop

Discover a range of British made gifts, many of which have a clear sense of place, celebrating the natural landscape of the Maltings.

The antithesis of the High Street, this shop sells gifts made individually by hand or  in small batches by designer makers and in small workshops. The products sold include  pottery made in Suffolk, toiletries made in Wales and candles made in Cornwall . The Craft Shop sells Fair trade items from around the world, including handmade gifts from the Philippines, knitwear from Nepal  and jewellery and stationery from India. Here you will find a gift for him and for her, and for the children. There are craft kits and games for all the family too!

Originally opened to sell local arts and craft The Craft Shop was the first shop to be opened at Snape Maltings in 1971. One of the original buildings on the site, its original use was a Boat repair building located on the quay.
