Granary Tea Shop

With plenty of outdoor space close to the river, the Granary Tea Shop is the perfect spot for morning coffee, afternoon tea, and as a meeting place for a light lunch.
Sandwiches, baked potatoes and panini are freshly prepared to order. Our soup is made upstairs in Café 1885, and sausage rolls and a selection of cakes baked by Dawn in the Tea Shop team. Scones and bread are delivered each morning from a local bakery to ensure quality and freshness.
Concert Hall Café

With its glorious panoramic views over the River Alde, a new wine and drinks list features artisan spirits, local soft drinks and a wonderful range of wines by the glass, you can enjoy a drink whilst enjoying the best vista in Suffolk.
Our freshly prepared breakfast and lunch menus have an emphasis on local and healthy food. With its breathtaking backdrop, the café is also a perfect place to meet friends, relatives or business colleagues for smoothies, salad bowls or a healthy but indulgent dessert.
On concert nights a wide variety of hot and cold food is available for 2 hours before all performances, served in a quick and informal style.

The top floor Concert Hall Restaurant is open for dining whilst enjoying the best vista in Suffolk before and after all evening performances in the Aldeburgh Festival and Snape Proms, and for many other events throughout the year. At Snape Maltings, we are lucky enough to have a village pub on the site run by Alex and Oli Burnside. There has been a pub here since the 16th century, when it was a smugglers inn.
Today, the traditional bar area is complemented by a light and airy modern restaurant.
