Development Assistant

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the development team at one of the world’s leading centres of music and a visitor destination of outstanding natural beauty.

Full time, 12 months maternity cover

We are seeking a confident, organised person who combines great customer care and communication skills with the ability to prioritise their workload effectively and provide efficient administrative support to the team.  Strong IT (Microsoft) skills and experience of working with a CRM or databases would be ideal.

Fundraising experience is not essential for the role, but the successful candidate will be keen to develop their skills and knowledge and to be involved in all our activities such as assisting with key fundraising receptions and events during Aldeburgh Festival.  This post is initially offered on a 12-month basis.

We will appoint on merit and welcome applications from all sections of the community, in particular from BAME and disabled candidates who are currently under-represented at Snape Maltings. First interviews can take place via Skype for shortlisted candidates who are unable to travel to Suffolk.
