Yum! A Feast for the Eyes

Friday 22 – Thursday 28 September

Shelley is absorbed in the world of slow photography. Each of her varied photographs is painstakingly composed using the traditions of the classical masters, but with a modern touch. She manipulates natural light to tease out the beauty and texture of her subject – be it an elegant rose or a common cabbage.

This exhibition offers a glimpse of her developing personal portfolio as well as the extraordinary range of items she has been asked to photograph by her clients. From the deep purple hues of figs and pomegranates to transparent blood oranges, Shelley’s use of light allows the viewer to immerse themselves in each and every photograph.
