Theronda Hoffman Exhibition 'Local Scenes'

Sat 2 Sep – Thu 28 Sep

Theronda is one of the most popular artists in the Snape Maltings Gallery and with Local Scenes she gives her audience what they expect, but she also has a surprise in store, in the form of a sculpture piece She Hare.

Theronda started her art training at Spier art school in Stellenbosch, South Africa and uses a variety of mediums to put her scenes on canvas and paper. Humour and dreamlike images can be found in the seemingly simple lines, for example, A Hare on Aldeburgh Beach brings personality and life to a scene.

Theronda’s new collection Local Scenes will be featuring in the Maltings Gallery from Saturday 2 September 2017 until Thursday 28 September. Meet Theronda at the exhibition launch on Saturday 2 September between 12pm and 3 pm. No need to book, join us in the Maltings Gallery.
