Explosive energy from the brilliant Scottish folk band
Scottish folk band Talisk are well known for their explosive energy, heart-wrenching melodies and artfully woven sound. The Glasgow-based trio, consisting of Mohsen Amini, Hayley Keenan and Graeme Armstrong, seamlessly meld concertina, fiddle and guitar to produce a multi-layered, enthralling signature that has effortlessly captivated audiences all over the world. Expect an evening of tradition, but with a bold sense of adventure, ranging from gentle tunes with tumbling melodies to jigs and reels which move at a blistering pace. This is a band who thrive on injecting fire into their sets every bit as much as their audiences enjoy hearing it.
