Introducing Suffolk Youth Choir who will be performing a scintillating jewel of the choral repertoire for its inaugural concert.
Carmina Burana, a riot of Medieval poetry set in the iconic musical soundscape of its composer showcases the full might of Suffolk Youth Orchestra and Suffolk Youth Choir. As it catapults the listener head-first into the action, Carmina Burana, intended by Orff as a piece for all the senses, does not disappoint.
Suffolk County Music Service present this concert featuring Suffolk Youth Choir and Suffolk Youth Orchestra in collaboration with Suffolk Mind, the nominated charity of the Chairman of Suffolk County Council, Cllr James Finch. The power of music to support health and well-being is increasingly seen as a vital ingredient at all stages of our lives. Through the formation of Suffolk Youth Choir, we are thrilled to extend the gift of music to even more Suffolk students.
Following their Spring residential course Suffolk’s talented young musicians perform a selection of this season’s works for symphony orchestra and choir.
