Mindful Movement Pilates Class (Beginners)

Mindful Movement practised through Stott Pilates training is based on modern principles of exercise science and caters for clients from post rehab to elite athletes – focusing on mind body connection.

During these workshops you will be introduced to the 5 basic principles of the Stott Pilates method, working towards achieving movements to align and maintain the natural curves of the spine. Building on this strong foundation we incorporate newer fitness practices e.g. fascial fitness, biomechanics of movement, functional fitness, whilst maintaining our mind-body connection.

Class workshops at intermediate level aim to further challenge and develop our mat practise introducing more advanced movements and use of small apparatus.


Susan originally from East Anglia has recently returned from more than 25 years living and instructing dance and Pilates in the Middle East. Most recently instructing at the Real Pilates award winning Stott Pilates Licensed Training Centre, Dubai.

She is a Stott Certified Instructor in Mat, Reformer, Chair, Barrels, Total Barre, Merrithew Fascial Movement and Injuries in Special Populations.

Susan is pleased to be able to pass on her knowledge and expertise to help others achieve Mindful Movement through Stott Pilates method in the Snape Tack Room workshops.
