Making Unique Jewellery with Paper
Saturday 7 April 10am–4pm
Part of Workshops at the Tack Room
An opportunity to make unique and colourful jewellery using paper as a base. This workshop is designed for people with an interest in colour and some manual dexterity.
During the day participants should make at least one unique piece of wearable jewellery.
Alison Dane is a keen photographer and gardener. Her jewellery is inspired by the changing seasons in the Suffolk landscape. It is lightweight, colourful, and durable. The colours of her pieces are enhanced when worn with a variety of outfits – formal and casual.
The Art of Making in Suffolk: Workshops for Spring 2018
In a new collaborative venture between Suffolk Craft Society and Snape Maltings, five selected Society Makers lead a series of one-day workshops. The hands-on sessions, which include lino printing, felt and textile development and paper and ceramic jewellery making, offer you an opportunity to learn and be inspired by professional craft makers whose work is centred in Suffolk.
