Part of Friends Events
In 1403, London’s Stationers – manuscript writers, sellers and illuminators – formed themselves into a guild. Today, the Company unites members from across broadcast and print media. In this special tour, we’ll be guided through the interiors of their stunning Livery Hall, built in 1673, and its secluded garden. We’ll also be treated to a visit to the Grade I-listed Wren church of St Martins-within-Ludgate, just next door. In addition, the Hall Archivist will reveal more about the history of the Company, including select musical artefacts.
