John Piper (1903-1992): Paintings and Prints
Thompson’s Gallery are pleased to be hosting what will be the largest collection of works by John Piper in East Anglia.

Painter, printmaker, designer of stained-glass windows and theatre sets, Piper designed most of Britten’s stage sets and became a close friend. As well as this exhibition, his painting ‘Corton Cathedral Suffolk’ (1968) can be viewed at Snape Maltings in the Concert Hall foyer, and more of his works can be seen at The Red House, Aldeburgh.
