Life and tide in paint and glaze
Alaco Doyle and Helen Cassells offer you a warm welcome to their joint exhibition of 2D and 3D art.
Friday 9 - Thursday 15 JuneFree Event
Inspired by life and the tide near their studios at Felixstowe Ferry, the exhibition offers you an unusual blend and wide range of art to interest and inspire you.
Helen Cassells offers you the chance to explore the unique art of pine needle weaving on hand built ceramic pieces. With forms and designs inspired by nature and local life, her pieces are a reflection of Suffolk.
You will be able to see her weaving away when she is at the exhibition. Feel free to ask her about it.
Alaco Doyle’s paintings are an eclectic mix of high realism, graphic images and abstract forms. Her latest work focuses on still-lifes that invite the viewer to appreciate the beauty to be found in the ordinary everyday subject, along with her graphic interpretations of Felixstowe Ferry’s nautica.
