On behalf of all the Friends, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to our hosts, Sir Michael and Lady Hopkins, for hosting the Friends Annual Reception at their home only 10 minutes’ drive from Snape.
In the magnificent grounds, we will be joined by our very special guest, Radio 4’s James Naughtie. A keen admirer of Britten, James has written passionately about him in his recent book, The New Elizabethans. James will be telling us more about the how Britten and the BBC worked together to bring modern classical music to new audiences. With delectable food provided by Suffolk chef Peter Harrison, glorious views of the River Alde and convivial company, what better way to spend a glorious summer’s evening?
Your ticket includes sparkling wine, drinks & bowl food, with sweet canapés. Directions will be sent with your tickets.
