Wednesday 24 June 2020 - 9.00am

The walk begins at St Edmund’s Church, Fritton, dating from the 12th-15th centuries. We then circumnavigate the lake, passing through formal gardens and along the woodland track, before lunching at the summer house with grand views across the water, where the brave can choose to swim from the jetty.

After lunch we head towards the hall, the seat of our hosts Lord and Lady Somerleyton, visiting the estate’s other two churches, Ashby and St Mary’s, along the way.

  • Suitable clothing and footwear essential.
  • Swimmers must bring their own costumes and towel.
  • 6 miles.

  • Sorry, no dogs allowed.
