Festival Walk I

Wednesday 16 Aug 2017 9:33pm

Part of Aldeburgh Festival

The Shotley peninsular is a gently enigmatic stretch of Suffolk between the Stour and Orwell rivers. There are fine views across the river and glimpses of farmhouses and grand residences on this walk through a variety of woodland, open fields and along beaches. After lunch we take in one of the fine gardens which has generously been opened for us by its owners.

Not a circular walk. Suitable clothing and footwear essential. Approx 6 miles. Easy walking. Regrettably no dogs permitted.
