Festival Walk I: Heveningham Hall & Upper Blyth Valley

Weds 12 June, coaches depart 9.30am and 10am

Part of Aldeburgh Festival

The walk begins with a visit to Walpole Old Chapel, one of the country’s earliest Congregational chapels. We then follow the River Blyth through grazed meadows to the stunning Capability Brown parkland of the Heveningham Hall estate where we hear about its fascinating replanting and landscaping programme. After lunch, we make our way past coppiced hornbeam to Huntingfield Church and its wonderful painted ceiling.

Suitable clothing and footwear essential. 5 miles, fairly easy going, some stiles. Sorry, no dogs allowed. Please let us know any dietary requirements.
