Exhibition: William G Walton - The Sound of One Hand Clapping
17 - 23 September, 10am - 5.30pm (until 4.30 Sunday)
Using oils or acrylics, William G Walton creates his paintings with the aim of producing imagery that has a meditative quality - a spiritual experience through colour, form and texture.
Based on a simple symbolic imagery that develops via experimentation, the image evolves through initial intention, improvisation and serendipity. Influences include Abstract Expressionism, Oriental Art and Zen paintings.
