Exhibition: Printscape by 12PM

Thu 23 Jul - Wed 29 Jul

Free Event

The Garage Gallery, 152 High St, Aldeburgh

Twelve Printmakers are looking forward to returning to the Garage Gallery.  Since their last show they have two new members in Lucy Perry and Sally Burch who will both bring their different screen printing processes to compliment the wide ranging printing techniques on show.  The aim of the group is to promote high quality handmade images using a full range of recognised printmaking techniques in limited editions as well as one-off unique images.

The group is based in East Anglia centred along the Essex/Suffolk border with close links to Gainsborough’s House Print Workshop in Sudbury and the Colchester based print studio at Cuckoo Farm. All the prints are conceived and carried out by the artist working directly on the block, plate or screen from which the print will be made. The Group meets regularly to exchange ideas and plan for exhibitions. The Artists have exhibited widely in East Anglia and in London and their work is held in collections in the UK and abroad.

The exhibition will include work by Sally Burch, Sally Freer, Mel King, Terry Kubecki, Kit Leese, Lucy Perry, Kitty Reford, Tony Searle, David Stone, Julia Vezza, Bryan Whiteley & Alan Woods.
