Exhibition: Lucinda Rogers - Snape drawings

8 September - 23 December

Free Event

Concert Hall Gallery

Artist and illustrator Lucinda Rogers will exhibit drawings of familiar and hidden scenes of Snape Maltings and Aldeburgh, centred around the original drawings she made for the Snape Maltings seasonal brochures over the last year. The drawings also feature on this website and in the Aldeburgh Festival and Snape Proms programme books.

Working in ink, gouache and watercolour on paper, Rogers is well known for drawing directly from life in the tradition of the artist as reporter. Her work has been commissioned and exhibited widely and she is currently assembling a book of her drawings of New York.

Please Note: the exhibition will be open from 10am-5.30pm (4.30pm Sundays) until 31 October, and to the end of each concert. From 1 November – 23 December, it will be open pre- and post-concert only.
