Lesley’s first love is painting water, and so her work often takes her around the British coast. She enjoys painting both in the studio from her own reference, and en plein air on location.

Lesley is an elected member of the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists and Chelsea Art Society, and is on the council of Chelsea Art Society and The Hesketh Hubbard Life Drawing Society. She shows regularly with the Royal Society of Marine Artists in London, and has had work shown with the ROI, RBA and SWA.
