Exhibition: Jane Martin
Thursday 4 - Wednesday 10 July
Jane Martin works at the mouth of the Thames in Essex. Each of her bronzes is unique, made with the lost wax technique. Always a bird form, as are many of her works in stone. Paintings, usually with a muted pallette, are inspired by the constantly changing tides and birdlife locally and regular visits to West Cornwall and the Suffolk coast. This will be her first time showing in Suffolk.
Alongside Jane’s work, her gallery, Atelier, is exhibiting a selection of Post War Modern British Art to include John Bellany, Terry Frost, Rose Hilton, Denis Mitchell, Ben Nicholson, Breon O’Casey, John Piper and others of note.
