Exhibition: Above and Below

‘The exhibition title Above and Below has given us the challenge of individually interpreting the surface and colours of the Suffolk land and seascape.’

Clive Barnett produces contemporary prints on fabric and paper, embellished by hand-stitched work. This exhibition represents his observations of ‘Above and Below’ the tidleline on the Suffolk Coast. Clive will demonstrate his craft skills on Friday 26 July 2019.

Clare Gaylard creates wearable art, vessels and totems by torching Venetian glass in an intense flame and sculpting while the glass is molten. Her observations are of ‘Above and Below’ the Suffolk horizon. Clare demonstrates her craft skills on Sun 28 July 2019.

Madeline Nightingale produces contemporary art using sketch-work, mixed-media and hand stitching. This exhibition represents her mark-making and observation of the different surface layers discovered in the Suffolk countryside. Madeline will demonstrate her craft skills on Tues 30 July 2019.
