In 1937 Amelia Earhart, then the most famous woman on the planet, went missing in her silver Electra aeroplane as she was about to complete her pioneering round-the-world flight. 40 years later, an old jar of freckle cream is discovered by an elderly woman on the beach.

So begins a story that takes us from Australia to America and back, with a huge cast of exciting characters. The opera, aimed at children aged 7-14, is performed by ETO’s singers and orchestra and was created by the team behind Laika the Spacedog and Shackleton’s Cat.
