On Saturday 17 March, Aldeburgh Music Club Choir are joining forces with the Bury Bach Choir to perform a glorious all-Mozart programme, including the grandest and most dramatic of Mozart’s choral works, the Great Mass in C minor K427.
The concert opens with Mozart’s overture to Lucio Silla K135, and the two choirs will also perform Mozart’s Vesperae solennes de confessore K339, a richly varied work, which includes a radiant setting of Laudate Dominum for solo soprano with chorus.
