Since opening its doors in 1914, the legendary Harlem Apollo has played host to many of the great stars of Jazz, Rhythm and Blues – Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, James Brown, and countless others began their road to stardom on the Apollo stage. This evening, three wonderful singers and a spectacular 17-piece big band take you straight back to 1960s New York with the music of Lionel Hampton, Count Basie, Dinah Washington and the late, great Chuck Berry.

Following the government’s recent announcement, we are slightly increasing the capacity of August events in Snape Maltings Concert Hall, but not yet to full capacity. We will put an extra allocation of tickets on sale, but will make sure that you, or your party, have an empty seat on either side. We cannot guarantee that seats behind and in front of you will be empty.
These additional tickets for our indoor events will go on sale to Priority Bookers on Wednesday 21 July at 10am, and for General Booking on Friday 23 July at 10am.
