Pete Long Big Band plays Count Basie, Dinah Washington and Chuck Berry

Since opening its doors in 1914, the legendary Harlem Apollo has played host to many of the great stars of Jazz, Rhythm and Blues – Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, James Brown, and countless others began their road to stardom on the Apollo stage. This evening, three wonderful singers and a spectacular 17-piece big band take you straight back to 1960s New York with the music of Lionel Hampton, Count Basie, Dinah Washington and the late, great Chuck Berry.
