A day-long showcase of arts within criminal justice

Snape Maltings marks 20 years’ work with its local prison, HMP Warren Hill, with a day of performances and workshops showcasing the role of music and arts in rehabilitation.

Join us and our national partners Koestler Arts, The Irene Taylor Trust, Clean Break and Fine Cell Work, to gain insight into the different approaches used to engage those within the criminal justice system.


Rehabilitative Retail

Throughout the day in the Hoffmann Foyer

Your chance to purchase unique pieces created by offenders at HMP Warren Hill – from textiles and artwork to larger items from the woodwork and metal workshops. Skills learnt in these workshops forms part of HMP Warren Hill’s Enabling Environment, empowering offenders to play the leading role in their rehabilitation.

Koestler Arts

Koestler Arts will be in the Hoffmann Building, selling their anthology, Koestler Voices: New Poetry from Prisons, alongside Koestler Arts merchandise: tote bags, mugs, notebooks and pencils.
