Kiln House

Kiln House built in 1846 is an integral part of Snape Maltings. The newly renovated property is beautifully presented with three floors overlooking the Courtyard. The property has been very thoughtfully furnished with the ideal relaxing holiday in mind. It has a wonderful ambience as the house has been lived in and it feels very comfortable. It is within close proximity to the excellent range of shops, Café 1885, The Plough and Sail as well as the Granary teashop. It is in the ideal spot to enjoy a concert in the world famous concert hall and be home within 2 minutes.

Through the front door is the sitting room with a large three seater sofa and two arm chairs and a lovely fireplace. Here you will a large flat screen TV with freesat and a DVD player. This leads into the dining area which has a large table and six chairs making it the perfect place for family meals and game space. There is also a CD player with radio and iPod dock and a stylish Ercol sideboard.

The kitchen area overlooks the Courtyard and has everything that is needed for holiday cooking. It is well equipped with an induction hob, oven, fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washer/dryer. The back door leads straight into the private Courtyard which is an ideal space to have a morning cup of coffee or an early evening drink.

The stairs lead to the first floor single bedroom which has a large wardrobe and chest of drawers. The family bathroom has a bath with an overhead shower, WC and washbasin.

The second set of stairs leads to a double room ensuite with a wardrobe and chest of drawers so there is ample storage and it also has lovely views over the Courtyard. The master bedroom is also ensuite with a king size bed, three seater sofa, full size mirror, fitted wardrobe and a slim chest of drawers. This room also has a Freeview TV and a wonderful large bay window – ideal for sitting and watching the world go by.

There is underfloor heating and constant hot water provided by the bio-mass boiler on site. An ironing board and iron is available along with hair dryers in each bedroom.

Outside the Courtyard garden gives the opportunity for relaxing in a tranquil space. Wi-Fi is provided along with all linen and towels – please bring beach towels.

Enjoy all that Snape has to offer when staying here with a great array of shops, Café 1885, the Granary teashop and the Plough and Sail pub.
