Maz O’Connor is a singer songwriter in the folk genre who is shifting her focus towards creating larger pieces of work with narrative.
She has written a piece of music theatre about Bridget Cleary, a woman who was murdered by her husband in 19th-Century Tipperary because he believed her to be a faery changeling. In her Residency this week, Maz is working with a director, movement director, dramaturg, instrumentalists and actor/singers.
