Participate

Friendly and fun music making sessions for the local community

Born out of our Carer and Cared-For initiative, Participate is an inclusive, creative music making workshop which brings together people of all ages from across the community in a supportive and friendly environment.

We meet once a month for a two-hour session in the Trask Cafe located in the Britten-Pears Building here at Snape Maltings. There are two sessions a day, at 11am-1pm and 2pm-4pm.

Each month we are led by different artists, each bringing something new and exciting for us to take part in. Expect to play, sing, listen and join in with a variety of musical games and activities that are fun and accessible to everyone – no musical experience required!

The sessions are open to anyone and everyone – to join us please book tickets in advance through our box office. If you have any questions or are interested in finding out more, please contact learning@snapemaltings.co.uk

Upcoming sessions:

20th November - Nicola Wydenbach, Voice

18th December - Jack McNeill, Clarinet
