International string and keyboard-based ensembles explore diverse approaches to their art with an eminent group of chamber musicians including Alasdair Tait and Isabel Charisius.
An intensive week of chamber music coaching and masterclasses for existing and experienced string or keyboard-based ensembles. Groups from Europe and the USA met under the guidance of a wealth of performing talent from the Cleveland, Alban Berg, Brentano and Belcea Quartet, alongside the Weilerstein Piano Trio.
Exploring two great teaching traditions, this course examined their shared ideas and ideals – the core principles that connect these diverse approaches to chamber music performance.
