Britten Pears Arts is a pioneering music, arts and heritage charity based at two beautiful locations on the Suffolk coast: The Red House, Aldeburgh and Snape Maltings.
The Red House was the home of composer Benjamin Britten and his partner, the singer Peter Pears. This historic house is surrounded by five acres of garden and includes purpose-built Archive and exhibition buildings. Open to the public it offers a fascinating view of domestic life in the mid-twentieth century.
We are looking forward to welcoming visitors this summer and are now recruiting two seasonal team members to greet visitors, sell tickets, make sure that the retail area is kept clean and well-stocked, assist with general enquiries and manage our volunteers who invigilate the house and library.
We are looking for:
- Customer service experience
- Enthusiasm for working and interacting with a diverse range of people
- Confident communication skills
- Experience of working with Microsoft
- Someone who is a positive and collaborative team member.
As part of our commitment to equality of opportunity, we kindly ask you to complete our Equality and Diversity Monitoring Form.
To apply please send a covering letter and completed application to Helen Fletcher, HR Director via email.
