Our re-opening plans
We are excited to share our plans for starting concerts and events again and re-opening our sites and shops. Of course, as with all organisations, our plans are tied to the government’s roadmap for relaxing COVID measures and are therefore subject to change.

Weddings
Say ‘I do’ surrounded by nature in this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Your ceremony can take place on our world-famous stage, or a more intimate setting with a view.
On 1 April 2020, the Britten-Pears Foundation and the charity Snape Maltings merged to create a new pioneering music, arts and heritage charity called Britten Pears Arts.
Every purchase in the shops and cafés at Snape Maltings supports the innovative and important work of Britten Pears Arts, but if you can, please consider making a donation.
Visit The Red House
The Red House in Aldeburgh is the former home of Britten and Pears and is lovingly preserved and open to all. It cares for the collections left by the two men, including their Archive which holds an extraordinary wealth of material richly documenting their lives. The site is surrounded by a five acre garden offering a peaceful setting to this beautiful corner of Suffolk.
Explore Britten Pears Arts online
You can explore work from our creative programmes on the Digital Campus, listen to a podcast, read stories from our Archives in the regular Archive Treasures, or watch performances, masterclasses, and more on our Youtube channel.
